Oil prices today 07/11: Rebound to the upside

World oil prices today

World oil prices saw a slight increase today after the previous session’s decline. At the close of yesterday’s session (Nov 6), WTI and Brent crude prices fell by 0.29% and 0.22%, respectively, hitting their lowest levels in roughly half a month.

By this afternoon, both oil benchmarks turned slightly higher. At 12:23, WTI crude stood at 59.73 USD/barrel, up 0.30 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 0.50%. WTI closed the previous session at 59.43 USD/barrel and opened today at 59.68 USD/barrel.

Brent crude was at 63.67 USD/barrel, rising 0.29 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 0.46%. Brent closed the previous session at 63.38 USD/barrel and opened today at 63.48 USD/barrel.

Domestic oil prices today

On Nov 7, retail oil and gasoline prices published by Petrolimex for Zone 1 and Zone 2 are as follows:

The above domestic retail prices were adjusted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade – Ministry of Finance from 3:00 PM on Nov 6.

Accordingly, E5RON92 gasoline decreased by 78 VND/liter, RON95-III decreased by 72 VND/liter, diesel increased by 120 VND/liter, kerosene increased by 124 VND/liter, and mazut decreased by 319 VND/kg.

Fuel discount rates on Nov 7 at several domestic fuel trading enterprises are as follows:

Hoang Trong General Trading Co., Ltd.:
– Petec Warehouse, Dinh Vu: Diesel 0.05S – II: 1,550 VND/liter
– Hai Linh Warehouse, Hai Phong: Diesel 0.05S – II: 1,600 VND/liter; RON 95 – III: 1,250 VND/liter
– Bac Ninh Warehouse: Diesel 0.05S – II: 1,450 VND/liter; RON 95 – III: 1,100 VND/liter
– Nghi Son Warehouse: Diesel 0.05S – II: 1,750 VND/liter; RON 95 – III: 1,350 VND/liter

Tu Luc Fuel:
– Diesel 0.05S-II: 1,600 VND/liter
– Diesel 0.001S-V: 1,300 VND/liter
– RON 95 – III: 1,250 VND/liter
– E5 gasoline: 1,200 VND/liter

MIPEC Fuel:
– RON 95 – III: 1,100 VND/liter
– Diesel 0.05S-II: 1,000 VND/liter

Forecast for domestic fuel prices in the next adjustment

According to a representative of a fuel trading enterprise, domestic gasoline and oil prices will fluctuate in line with global market movements. Based on current market trends, it is predicted that in the upcoming price adjustment, retail fuel prices may see slight changes, with gasoline prices potentially decreasing and oil prices increasing.
