Today (November 11), global oil prices edged lower as oversupply concerns eased, but weak demand and rising U.S. inventories continued to pressure the market. Specifically, Brent crude stood at USD 63.44 per barrel, down 0.30%, while WTI traded at USD 59.00 per barrel, down 1.01%.
On November 11, 2025, Brent crude was priced at USD 63.44 per barrel, down 0.30% (equivalent to a decrease of USD 0.19/barrel). Similarly, WTI crude was at USD 59.00 per barrel, down 1.01% (equivalent to a decrease of USD 0.60/barrel).
According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade’s newspaper, global oil prices slipped slightly in today’s session as investors grew optimistic about progress toward ending the U.S. government shutdown, although concerns over crude oversupply continued to dominate the market.
Last week, both Brent and WTI fell by roughly 2%, marking the second straight weekly decline due to oversupply worries. While OPEC+ has agreed to slightly increase production in December, the alliance also announced a pause on further output hikes in Q1/2026 to stabilize the market.
In the U.S., crude stockpiles continued to rise, while the volume of oil stored on tankers in Asian waters has doubled in recent weeks.
In another notable development, Russian oil giant Lukoil declared force majeure at the West Qurna-2 oil field in Iraq — one of the world’s largest production projects — as Western sanctions crippled operational activities.
Domestic fuel prices this morning, November 11, remained at levels set by the Ministry of Industry and Trade – Ministry of Finance since the latest adjustment at 3:00 PM on November 6. E5RON92 gasoline fell by VND 78/liter, with a retail ceiling price of VND 19,682/liter; RON95-III dropped by VND 72/liter, with a retail ceiling price of VND 20,416/liter.
Similarly, diesel 0.05S increased by VND 120/liter, with a retail ceiling price of VND 19,323/liter; kerosene rose by VND 124/liter, with a ceiling price of VND 19,395/liter; and madut 180CST 3.5S decreased by VND 319/kg, with a retail ceiling of VND 14,320/kg.
Since the beginning of 2025, domestic gasoline prices have undergone 42 adjustments, including 18 decreases, 19 increases, and 5 mixed sessions.
