Oil prices today, November 26: World oil prices fell sharply today. WTI oil fell to 58 USD/barrel, Brent oil fell below 62 USD/barrel.

World oil prices today
World oil prices are on a downward trend. At the end of yesterday’s trading session (November 25), WTI and Brent crude oil fell 1.7% and 1.6% respectively.
By this morning’s session, both oil products continued to decrease. At 08:42 (Vietnam time), WTI crude oil price was at 58.06 USD/barrel, down 0.05 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 0.09%. WTI oil closed the previous trading session at 58.11 USD/barrel and opened today’s session at 58.06 USD/barrel.
Brent crude oil was at $61.92 a barrel, down $0.05 a barrel, or 0.08 percent. Brent crude oil closed the previous trading session at $61.97 a barrel and opened today’s session at $61.97 a barrel.
Thus, world oil prices remain at a low level. According to analysts, oil prices fell sharply after Ukraine sent positive signals about ending the war with Russia.
If fighting in Ukraine ends, the West could lift sanctions on Russian energy exports, paving the way for more supply amid a commodity market already under pressure from forecasts of a glut next year.
Domestic gasoline prices today
On November 26, retail gasoline prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in zone 1 and zone 2 are as follows:
The above domestic retail prices of gasoline and oil were adjusted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance from 3:00 p.m. on November 20.
Accordingly, gasoline prices decreased across the board; only kerosene prices increased. E5RON92 gasoline prices decreased by 37 VND/liter, RON95-III gasoline decreased by 34 VND/liter, diesel oil decreased by 38 VND/liter, kerosene oil increased by 353 VND/liter, and fuel oil decreased by 335 VND/kg.

Forecast of domestic gasoline prices next period
According to a representative of a petroleum business, domestic petroleum prices will fluctuate according to the world petroleum situation. According to current market developments, it is forecasted that in the next price adjustment period, retail petroleum prices may decrease sharply.
Of which, the price of RON 95-III gasoline is forecast to decrease by about 600 VND/liter; E5 RON 92-II gasoline to decrease by about 580 VND/liter; and Diesel oil to decrease by about 970 VND/liter.
