Overview of EBSI
Everbright Securities International (EBSI) traces its roots to Sun Hung Kai & Co. (founded in 1969). In 2021, EBSI became a wholly owned subsidiary of Everbright Securities Co., Ltd. The firm serves retail, corporate, and institutional clients, offering financial services such as wealth management, corporate finance & capital markets, institutional business, asset/fund management, and investment & financing.
In 2024, EBSI launched its proprietary mobile trading app “EBSI GO!” to make trading more convenient for investors.
From a regulatory standpoint, EBSI is supervised by Hong Kong’s Securities and Futures Commission (SFC), which provides a certain level of investor protection. However, note that its HKGX license has not been verified at this time.
Is EBSI reputable?
EBSI is licensed/regulated by the SFC under license numbers AAF237 and ACI995.
At the same time, information regarding HKGX (Hong Kong Gold Exchange) license No. 044 has not been confirmed by the authorities, implying potential activities beyond HKGX’s permitted scope—investors should consider this risk.
