Who is the ISA?
The Israel Securities Authority (ISA), established under the Securities Law of 1968, has the primary function of protecting the interests of investors. The ISA is responsible for supervising and reviewing periodic reports such as immediate reports, quarterly and annual financial statements; reports on transactions between companies and shareholders; as well as reports on private securities offerings, trading activities, and mutual funds. In addition, the ISA licenses and regulates trading platforms, portfolio managers, investment advisors, and investment marketers, while also overseeing the operations of stock exchanges.
How does the ISA regulate a forex broker?
1. Client fund protection: customer funds must be held in segregated accounts.

How to check a broker is ISA-regulated or not?
The detailed steps are as follow:
1. Find the name of the forex broker, which you can get from the broker’s website;

3. If the broker’s name is not in the list, it means that it may be an unauthorized broker and please watch out it.
If yes, please check more details; ‘Trading Platforms’ can provide forex trading service.
4. If all the steps above have been done, don’t forget to check the most important information: check if the firm details published on ISA website matches the ones you’ll go to trade with, especially the website and email etc.
If no, please keep away the broker because it’s probably an unauthorized firm and your money will fall in danger.
